THE MONOLITH SGS

Whether baking, simmering, direct or indirect grilling – the newly integrated Smart Grid System (SGS) now enables maximum flexibility on the grill. The practical modular division of the SGS into two sections even allows several techniques to be used simultaneously.

A PERFECT SEAL

The extremely resistant tubular glass fiber seal on the lid and a heavy-duty glass fiber flat strip seal on the body now ensure that heat and aromas stay exactly where they belong.

A SOLID HINGE

With its reinforced springs and precise height adjustment, the revised PRO series 2.0 stainless steel hinge is now even easier to use. This reinforced hinge in powder-coated 4 mm steel ensures durability and stability even with intensive use.

The MONOLITH philosophy

The history of the Osnabrück-based company MONOLITH Grill is characterized by founder Matthias Otto’s passion for grilling and his pursuit of quality and perfection. The company was founded in 2008 and is the leading German manufacturer of high-quality kamado grills. Matthias Otto’s vision was to develop versatile barbecues that offer both professionals and ambitious hobby barbecuers an exceptional barbecue experience. The path to the perfect kamado grill took Matthias across the globe, all the way to the stronghold of ceramic production: the Chinese province of Yixing, which can look back on 5000 years of experience in ceramic production. There, MONOLITH developed its own ceramic manufacturing process that can meet the requirements of a MONOLITH barbecue: optimum heat storage, resistance to extreme temperatures between 70 and 400 degrees, and a temperature shock resistance that is second to none.
